We are looking for a passionate Clinical Director to support our clinical work at our new Recovery Village facility

opening this late summer/early fall in Salem, OR!

 

Salary: Up to 120k

 

At The Recovery Village Salem Drug and Alcohol Rehab, we firmly believe that any adult facing drug and alcohol addictions, along with co-occurring mental health conditions, can begin their path to recovery. Our accredited addiction treatment facility offers a wide range of rehab programs in a safe and supportive environment, with compassionate care provided by experienced medical and clinical professionals.

 

Located in Salem, Oregon, our facility combines medical expertise with recreational therapies and mental health services in a welcoming setting. We proudly serve adults from diverse backgrounds, offering personalized treatment programs tailored to meet their unique needs.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Director is responsible for providing 24-hour management of all clinical functions of the facility. The Clinical Director is responsible for ensuring an excellent clinical product is delivered to our patients including group therapy, individual therapy, family counseling and case management. The clinical director ensures all activities are provided in accordance with State and Federal Regulations, JC Standards, ASAM Standards, Insurance Provider Requirements and to company Policies and Procedures.
 
Works with the facility leadership team to ensure success of the facility by completing the following:

CORE JOB DUTIES:
  • Develops clinical programming and ensures staff compliance to the curriculum.
  • Monitors the continued competency of each preliminarily licensed clinician ensuring state supervision guidelines are provided and/or applicable state certifications.
  • Audits documentation to ensure compliance to company policy, state regulations, Joint Commission standards and Medical Needs Criteria. This Includes:
    Biopsychosocial
    Comprehensive Problem List
    Integrated Master Treatment Plan and Updates
    Individual, family and group therapy session notes
    ASAMs
    Discharge Summary
  • Monitors group therapy sessions to ensure quality programming is delivered and to ensure compliance to the program curriculum.
  • Ensures all clinical staff are meeting 92% compliance on facility metrics.
  • Provides at least twice monthly individual supervision with each clinical staff member to ensure quality and quantity of clinical outcomes are met.
  • Provide monthly group supervision to clinical staff to ensure overall quantity and quality clinical goals are being met and maintained.
  • Reviews Service Time Report daily and proactively resolves patient or staffing problems resulting in lack of compliance.
  • Works with Site CEO and all leadership to ensure patient attendance in clinical services.
  • Uses substance abuse and co-occurring therapeutic interventions and de-escalation techniques to assist patients with accomplishing all treatment plans goals and objectives and successfully complete treatment.
  • Provides verbal and written feedback to staff, as needed to ensure optimal staff performance.
  • Identifies areas for improvement within the department by analyzing data and developing, implementing, and documenting plans for improvement and outcomes.
  • Provides Clinical Supervision to all clinicians who are not independently licensed/certified according to state regulations. Signs all clinical documents requiring second signature for nonindependently licensed/certified practitioners.
  • Expected to plan and forecast hiring needs with collaboration to ensure aligned with staffing budget.
  • Expected to interview and hire clinical team members.

OTHER REQUIRED TASKS:

  • Ensures referents are contacted per company policy.
  • Leads Clinical and Daily Flash Meetings.
  • Works closely with multidisciplinary team leadership and other cross functional departments to ensure continuity of care across departments.
  • Works collaboratively with recruiting on fostering partnerships to support internships and career development opportunities.
  • Develop and facilitate skill based trainings that include evidenced base content to be delivered to clinical and other staff as required.
  • Maintains positive relationships with all staff.
  • Provides a safe and therapeutic environment to all staff and patients.
  • Creates a positive environment for staff.
  • Performs other tasks, as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or health-related field.
 
Credentials:
  • Independently licensed to practice clinical discipline in the appropriate state (Oregon), required.
    • Supervisory credential if required by state regulations.
  • CPR Certification required.
 
Experience:
  • A minimum of 2 years’ management setting familiarity, with continuous Quality Improvement, JC standards, ASAM criteria and Insurance Company MNC.
  • Five or more years of AddictionServices/Treatment experience.

  • Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding
  • Patient Confidentiality laws.
  • Knowledge of Drug-Free Workplace Policies.
  • Knowledge of Workplace Violence.
  • Competency in Clinical Supervision
  • Has not committed, permitted, aided, or abetted the commission of an illegal act or unprofessional conduct as defined under RCW 18.130.180.
  • Knowledge and understanding of KPI metrics.
